Their mission is to combat food insecurity by serving local families, veterans, the elderly, and others in need, treating everyone with respect and compassion. Kiwanis Club of Miramar/Pembroke Pines: Building a Better Community
Chartered in 1991, the Kiwanis Club of Miramar/Pembroke Pines is part of a global organization dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. Comprising local neighbors, friends, and businesses, the club focuses on creating a sense of community in the neighborhoods where people live and work. They sponsor Key Clubs in four high schools—Everglades, Flanagan, Miramar, and Pembroke Pines Charter—fostering leadership and service among students.
